*All students must fill out the form in the charms corridoor first...it's very simple, takes about two seconds and it's just polite, thank you.*
Lesson 1
Professor Danseur entered silently and crossed the room in fewer steps than was physically possible…magic. Cornelia smiled. She turned to face the row of desks with a friendly atmoshpere. With a flick of her wand every shutter opened filling the room with an intense light. She took out this year's assignment and arranged it neatly on her desk now all that was left were the students. Anakin entered the class, ready to prepare for this year's N.E.W.T.s He made his way to the front desk, cursing under his breath. If he had to choose, he would choose spending time with Delila instead of having a lesson.

Cornelia blinked as a slytherin 7th year approached her desk, she could feel he was unwilling to learn. She sighed well as long as he didn't make a fuss she would make the lessons as painless as possible. "Welcome to charms, in case you were unaware my name is Professor Danseur and I will be your mentor."She smiled politely" Since you are early please take a minute to get comfy and If you don't mind, introduce yourself." She stood up and waited for a reply.

"I'm Anakin Prince. As you can see I'm a slytherin 7th year, seeker and captain of the slytherin quidditch team." Anakin said with pride. There were other things though, things that he wanted to keep secret, like the fact that he was Voldemort's apprentice.

" Ah hello Mr Prince, yes I've heard quite alot about you, I hope you're not quite all brawn and no brains? If you excuse my bluntness. I see an acquaintance of yours, Miss Delila Thorn is signed up for this class. I am glad to see so many slytherins interested in something other than the dark arts" she said meaningfully.

"Well, I've been taught that in order to study the dark arts, you must be good enough at everything else, including charms" he said with a smile.

Coda walked into Charms she sat in the back of the room, the moment she walked into the room she felt like there was something wrong inside herself but the moment she touched the necklace the feeling left. She sat behind Anakin, normally she would sit in the back but she wasn't really herself.

" Ah how right you are Mr Prince, Ah hello Miss Black I...are you feeling well? You look a bit, oh I don't know! Anyway on with the lesson the others will have to catch up by mailing me!" Cornelia walked round to a spot between the two desks and looked at her class. She sighed, well If they wanted to learn, they couldn't wait forever. "As Mr Prince has already been told you cannot learn dark arts, or any other form of powerful magic until you have mastered the basics of every other, more simple subjects." here she paused allowing her eyes to wander slightly to the necklace round the Black girl's (*sorry if this sounds a bit racist, it's not meant in that way*) neck. She was sure it wasn't uniform but something told her not to remove it. " Although Dark arts and divination etc are widely considered the most powerful and useful magics charms is the backbone of the wizarding world. What good would it be if you did an amazing job of a mission for the ministry then were defeated by a magically locked door?" She smiled around to see if this had made any sense to either of her pupils. "Seeing as you are in different year groups I will start you off on separate spells, Coda if you prove to me you can cope with the more powerful one's then I may move you up to Mr Prince's level. For now though as you are a few years his junior I would like you to focus on the spell I put before you.
Cornelia flicked her wand and a blank sheet of parchment appeared on the student's desk. " I don't believe in teaching spells which are useless to somebody so your first spell Miss Black is Aparecium. This is used to display hidden ink. Simply wave your hand in a sweeping motion across the page saying Aparecium, it may take a few tries but you seem like a bright enough girl."
She watched the girl for a few minutes then turned to the seventh year. "Now then Mr Prince something a litlle trickier?"

Anakin paid close attention at everything the professor said. He smiled when she mentioned locked doors. He had faced them an awful lot of times.
He waited patienty for his turn, as the lesson turned more and more fun as time passed. "Hit me" he said. He was sure that Voldemort would have taught him that spell.

"Hit me"
Cornelia smiled, perhaps this wasn't to be such a waste of time after all. She flicked through the cabinet of spells looking for a particular one. She had been planning something special for seventh years but wanted to test this one first, although not in the way you'd imagine. "Very well Mr Prince, this spell goes by the name of the Disillusionment Charm. Not one of the hardest spells to conquer it is a non verbal charm and requires much practise to get it absolutely right." She palced a small white rat down on his desk and watched with interest.

Anakin laughed. He had mastered that spell last year. He took out his wand and waved it in the correct motion. Immediately, the desk he had in front of him became invisible. He turned to look at the professor and smiled.

Cornelia smiled. "Not that I'm not impressed Mr Prince but I was rather hoping to keep that desk, I wanted you to charm the rat. Just humor me please." She sat back and watched a playful smile tugging at her lips. The rat was already bewitched and try as he might not even the dark lord himself would be able to charm it. Cornelia wondered what her pupil would make of it.

Severus walked in, noticed his cousin, his 'unknown girlfriend', and a teacher. How interestingly... empty. He watched in mild amusment as the desk in front Anakin turned invisible, and then as the teacher spoke some instructions at him: [blue]"Not that I'm not impressed Mr Prince but I was rather hoping to keep that desk, I wanted you to charm the rat. Just humor me please."[/blue] Severus sighed and rolled his eyes. I think now is the best time to admit myself.
He walked past the teacher, and moved to sit next to Anakin. When he was past Anakin's viewing pane, he flashed a quick smile and wink at Coda behind him. He then sat down at his desk, put his books down, raised an eyebrow, and crossed his arms, lounging a little.
He waited for his cousin to dazzle this teacher with his skills. Anakin was good, and probably could sleep through this class and pass it with exceptional grades.

Cornelia watched unimpressed as a student lounged at one of her desks. Well, she'd had enough today, too much going on outside of school to be dealing with this as well. "I don't believe I heard you knock."

Severus rolled his eyes, and shook his head. Why is it everyone sees a Slytherin and automatically assumes we are here to be a pain? He looked at the still wide open door, then his cousin beside him, and then at his teacher.
"Well, no rudeness taken Professor, I hope, but the door was open, so, it states that you are open to more students wishing to learn, even if they are but a moment late, and when a door is open, one does not think to knock do they? Also, you were busy with a student, my cousin, and it would have been rude to interupt."
He was in a a very stating stance now. His hands were folded together on his desk, and his head was tilt to the side in a 'matter of fact' sort of way. He hated teachers who were there for the moeny and not the teaching of students. It was rather annoying.
