MAIN PLOT.

[Lily Evans]

Long, thin, colourless fingers curled around the wand pointed at the useless servant. Men, cloaked and masked, stood in a loose circle around two other men, also cloaked, but not masked. The first man was standing, his face hidden in the depths of his cloak. The second man, however, was slumped in a heap, his cloak hanging off his shoulders. He was sweating and looked utterly terrified.
"So," the tall man, whispered in a high, cold whisper, "it has come to my attention that you, useless filth, have betrayed me. The circle of masked men sblack personed. The cowering man muttered inaudibly. "Do you know the consequences of disloyalty?" The servant nodded, quickering from head to toe. "And you still proceeded?" A whimper. The interrogator chuckled. "I can't think of a further use for you. Avery -"
"NO!" The quivering servant threw himself at his masters' feet, sobbing uncontrollably.
"- kill this vile creature."

Hundreds of miles north, the Marauders were sitting down for dinner at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, completely unaware of the troubles they must all soon face.
At the end of the Hall, their teachers each sat with a look of worry on their face. they spoke quickly and quietly to one another, depserately trying to piece together a plan. They knew what was coming and they knew that they could not protect their students from it forever. Hogwarts, the safest place on Earth, would be targeted and they wondered whether there was any wizard powerful enough to stop it.

The year is almost 1976 and the Marauders and their friends have just entered their sixth year of Hogwarts. Despite being locked away in their own world, the students sense that something is not right. The air has changed - there is something coming. That something will forge and destroy friendships, distort the world of magic and pollute the history of wizards and witches forever and that something seems to be unstoppable.
Voldemort has not yet tried to attack the castle, but those actively fighting against him know that it is only a matter of time. James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew and Lily Evans will soon become wrapped up in the mess, but without guidance, they will fall quickly.
