Cordi looked at her newly appointed ward. She smiled, she'd always wanted to come back to Hogwarts one day, and she had been given that chance.
In her childhood, Cordelia had been in this part of the castle many times with her injuries, or even just to ask the nurse to teach her about medicines and healing. The medical profession had always called out to Cordi, and she was so glad that she was able to follow her dream.
She came out of her daze and turned around, looking at the door. She could hear people talking, their voices getting louder as they neared the top of the stairs. Cordi sat down on a nearby armchair and waited until there was something to do. [Agent:2]

Anakin made his way to the hospital wing, sripping blood everywhere. That's not what he was planning on doing that afternoon. How could this happen? he said to himself. I had them, I was way better than them. How do you expect to match the Dark Lord? he said to himself. You nearly lost by those 7th years.
He looked at his hand. All this time he was holding his ribs really hard, but the wound wouldn't seal. The Dark Lord had taught him a few spells that would help him in this situation, but his head was in so much pain that he couldn't make a simple Expelliarmus work.
He managed to climb the stairs and opened the door to the first floor. He made his way slowly up to the hospital wing as quickly as he could. By opening the door, his knees gave up and he collapsed on the floor, soaking with blood. His head was about to explode and he was about to faint just as he felt the warmth of two gentle hands on his back.

The doors were flung open to Cordi's right, making her jump a few inches into the air. A body flopped onto the floor, motionless and Cordi hurried over to the limp form. Not what I was expecting on the first day, she thought, calmly, as she examined the injured student, who was bleeding heavily.
The young nurse pulled out her wand a muttered a charm. The Slytherin was gently lifted and moved onto the closest bed, where Cordi could tend to the wounds better. She put her wand down on the bedside table, making it easy to reach if she needed it again and looked at the student.
"How did you manage to get in this state at school?" She asked the motionless person. Cordi had worked in St. Mungo's, and had seen all kinds of horrific injuries, but she did not expect the same at a school. She picked up her wand a muttered an incantation, almost healing the injury to the boys ribs, although still leaving something that resembled a scratch. [Agent:2]

"It doesn't matter" Anakin whispered. His looked at his wound. He could feel no pain coming from it. "Thanks" he said and tried to get up. "Ouch" he said, holding his ribs. It seemed that he would have to stay here longer that he had expected.
Damn you Gryffindors he said to himself. Disappointed by his current state he turned to look at the healer for the first time.
Sorry for the small post, but I've got a headache right now...sorry

"It's okay, dear," Cordi smiled cheerfully at the Slytherin boy thanking her. He tried to get up and Cordi put a gentle but firm hand on his shoulder to push him back down. However, the boy seemed to learn the lesson himself from the painful expression that shot across this face. "You're not going to escape me that easily," Cordi joked, putting a hand to his ribs and pushing just hard enough to feel the bone. "Hmm..." she tilted her head to one side and turned around, disappearing into a small, box-like office over the other side of the wing. [Agent:2]

Anakin smiled to himself. She sounded like his mum. She would always be kind to him, even if he would return home after boody fights with muggle gangs. Then he turned sombre. She's dead he said to himself, and just thinking of her makes you weak. He sounded just like the Dark Lord. Revenge was all that Anakin would think, except for N.E.W.Ts. He would kill the Dark Lord even if he had to die during the process.
He turned to look at the woman, who was walking towards the small office on the other side of the wing. She was reminding him his mother, a lot. He started arguing with himself inside his mind. "Stop it." he said quite loudly, without noticing it.

Cordelia turned around as the boy said something, quiet loudly. "Are you okay?" She asked him, frowning slightly at his sudden outburst. Did he take a knock to the head? She strode back over to him, putting a cold hand on his forehead. "Well, you're not feverish," she said it so quietly it sounded like she was talking to herself. She pressed her fingers to his wrist. "No fast pulse, either," She said, just as quietly. Was he mad? She frowned at him again, thinking about what he'd just done. She then looked up, and around the room, checking for anyone else in the wing. There was no-one. [Agent:2]

Woops, now she'll think I'm mad. "It's nothing, nothing" Anakin said. "I'm fine" he added trying to reassure her. She moved towards him and started to check his pulse. And now sh's checking my pulse he said to himself, irritated.
He tried to reassure that he was fine again."I'm fine" he said quite loudly. He was becoming quite irritated. Suddenly he felt enraged. "Stop it" he yelled, only to regret saying it. "Sorry" he mumbled.

Cordi looked at the irritated boy, her kind eyes turning cold for a second. "If you're sure," she said, not meaning her voice to sound so cold. She tried to mask it with a smile before finally turning and going to the office. Inside, she frowned slightly at what she had just witnessed and then started reaching up towards some - what looked like - potion ingredients. She found all that she needed and pulled out a glass from one of the many cupboards crammed in the small office.
Cordi threw all the ingredients in together and made a lumpy, green mess. She looked at it, slightly confused and then relief came over her face. "I knew I'd forgotten something," she muttered, pulling out a small, crystal vial from one of the drawers. She dropped a tiny bit of the clear liquid into the glass and it instantly thinned, making it look more like apple juice than mashed nettles. She smiled, pleased with herself and then picked up the glass and headed back over to her patient. [Agent:2]

He turned to see her leave. Well done you idiot he said to himself. I've got to arrange this mess. he thought. He tried to move but it hurt. Great and I'm stuck here as well he thought.
He saw her coming towards him with a glass filled with something like apple juice. "What's that?" he said, trying not to seem as if he was in pain.

Cordi walked, cheerfully, towards the boys bed, all of the three seconds of coldness from before, gone. "Just something to help with the pain that's left," she answered his question, seconds after it had left his mouth - she could see on his face what he was going to ask. "There," she said, handing it to him. "I'm not sure what it will taste like," she admitted, "I've never had to take it." She looked thoughtful for a minute, but then smiled and walked back to the office. She tried to take a piece of paper from the wall and accidentally pulled the chart down with it. "Oops," she said airily, picking it back up and hanging it back on the wall. Yes, she was very clumsy when she was chipper. [Agent:2]

He eyed the bottle closely. It looked like apple juice but he had been taught not to rely only on what he could see. He felt the heat coming from the potion on his hand. With one quick look at the healer, he drank it all at once.
He couldn't breathe at first but he could feel the pain coming from his ribs finally resting. It tasted like apple juice. He was starting to feel his eyelids getting heavier second by second, and without helping it, he closed his eyes and hs head rested on the pillow.

Cordelia smiled as her patient's eyelids drooped and then finally closed. She placed the form she was holding down on the the table next to him and took the glass from his hand. She walked back over to the small office and put the glass in the sink, being careful not to break it.
Cordi walked back over to the chair she was sat in before the disturbance and sat down, crossing her legs. She sat in silence for a while and then pointed her wand at a bookcase near the office. "Accio," she murmured. A book freed itself from the shelf and sped it's way towards her. She caught it and began to read. [Agent:2]

Anakin finally rested after many weeks. He could feel himself impervious to everyday life's problems. He could see himself obtain every single goal that he wanted to. He smiled in his sleep, even though he couldn't control it. And that was when the nightmares came back.
After his mother's death, Anakin swore to himself that he'd kill the Dark Lord. When he would sleep, he would see nightmares of his mother's death. He couldn't help her, and that's why she was dead now. Dead, every single relative that he had was dead and it was all his fault. He made strange movements and he started to speak "Mum, no....no" he mumbled as he had difficulty in breathing.

Cordi enjoyed the peacefulness of the Hospital Wing. Obviously, it had to be kept quiet. It was a good place to think. She continued reading her book, not really taking in any of the words, but rather, marveling in the silence.
"Mum, no....no." Silence over.
She put her book down on the arm of the chair, folding it over the arm like a little roof, and looked up. The boy, who's name Cordi still didn't know, was talking, in his sleep? She stood up and looked at him again. He seemed to be struggling to breathe, so she hurried over to him and pressed her wand to his chest and muttered something inaudible. The shallow ups and downs of his chest slowed. Cordelia turned to sit back down in her chair. [Agent:2]
